Jay V. and Frank Wang encountered the difficulty of maintaining and scaling applications after the initial prototype stage. They started Anomaly Innovations to provide a platform that would let startups move from idea to production on cloud infrastructure without diverting engineering effort into cloud complexity; the initial vision was to build tools that could continue supporting a company as it grew.
