Released Pullboard, an open-source work board and coordination queue for AI agents, with its repository and documentation describing the spec, doctrine, lane, and independent-verification model.
Products & Services
Olson's independent research and trading operation and an operating layer for long-running agents. Its general agent-governance engine was parked after the engine phase; the narrower Pullboard concept was shipped instead.
A live-capital algorithmic trading and quantitative research platform for U.S. options, covering real-time market data, automated research, strategy execution, risk management, and continuous verification.
An open-source coordination queue for AI coding agents. It provides task dependencies, exclusive time-boxed claims, separate worktree lanes, spec and doctrine enforcement, commit-bound submissions, and independent verification so an agent cannot approve its own work.
A video-production marketplace where a customer describes a shoot in plain language, receives a budget in seconds, and is matched with videographers. It states that listings are free, there is no commission, and paid placement does not affect ranking.
Market Position
Olson positions Pullboard as a structural alternative to ordinary task lists and agent dispatch: it makes verification, spec traceability, worktree isolation, dependency ordering, and human escalation enforceable rather than relying on an agent's claim that work is done. Videographer.com positions itself against paid-placement videographer directories by offering free listings, no commission, and ranking based on fit rather than purchased placement. His quantitative platform is differentiated by determinism, an equivalence hierarchy between execution environments, extensive testing, and full solo ownership rather than by a disclosed performance claim.
Leadership
Founders
Corey Olson
Self-taught engineer who began programming as a child; founded and ran Vanilla Video from 2011 to January 2026, served as IT Manager at KLO Professional Billing (2007–2011), worked as a web developer at XHTML Corporation (2005–2010), and ran a freelance growth-marketing/web consultancy (2017–2023). He currently designs and operates Olevicor's live-capital quantitative platform.
Founding Story
Olson says he has consistently built custom tools instead of buying off-the-shelf software. He founded Vanilla Video in 2011 after spotting a market opportunity, built its CRM, scheduling, invoicing, dispatch, delivery, and infrastructure systems himself, and later applied that systems-engineering experience to quantitative research and trading. In 2023 he began Olevicor as an independent, own-capital research and trading operation; Pullboard was extracted from the practical need to coordinate agent fleets safely.
Business Model
Revenue Model
Olevicor trades systematic strategies with Corey Olson's own capital and explicitly says it has no outside investors or clients. Vanilla Video was a bootstrapped video-production business; Olson also ran a separate retainer-based SEM/SEO and web-consulting practice. Pullboard is published as MIT-licensed open-source software, and no paid plan is stated on the supplied pages.
