Founding Story
CyberArk was founded by Udi Mokady and Alon Cohen in 1999 to protect high-value business data. The founders pioneered a Digital Vault and launched the Sensitive Information Management Solution (originally the Sensitive Document Vault), initially enabling employees to share sensitive files securely; the company later evolved that technology into privileged access management and a broader identity-security platform.
