Board of Directors
Founding Story
Glide was founded in 2018 by David Siegel, Jason Smith, Mark Probst, and Antonio Garcia Aprea, who previously worked together at Xamarin (acquired by Microsoft for $500M). They recognized a need to make software creation accessible to non-developers. The team started with the insight that they could make it much easier to create well-designed, data-driven apps by starting with the spreadsheet as the foundation. They joined Y Combinator Winter 2019 batch and discovered that if software creation is accessible and easy enough, everybody wants to create software.
