Native macOS transcription app that transcribes audio, video, YouTube/media URLs, podcasts, voice memos and meetings. It supports local Whisper-family models and cloud providers, speaker recognition, dictation, editing, summaries/chat, translation, subtitle/document export and workflow automation.

Founding Story
Good Snooze was created as Jordi Bruin's independent software studio for shipping Apple projects and side projects. Bruin has said the name was inspired by a Kanye West lyric and also reflects his desire for the studio to be a place where he can build things he likes that help people. MacWhisper emerged shortly after OpenAI released Whisper and was designed to make high-quality transcription accessible while keeping processing on the user's Mac.
