Grovio Labs, Inc.
Grovio Labs builds Proofsource, an AI-intelligence platform that measures whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews name a brand, identifies who is named instead and why, and turns the gaps into fixes. Its broader stated thesis is that AI systems can perform much of a marketing team's work while marketers direct the systems.

Products & Services
Web-based AI visibility software that asks buyer questions across AI engines, stores answers and citations, measures mention rate and competitors, ranks opportunities, drafts fixes, and supports verification after changes.
A connector/MCP interface that lets ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Cursor, Claude Code and other MCP clients query a workspace's visibility, competitors, citations and fix status; it is available through the Proofsource MCP endpoint and API-key or sign-in access.
Market Position
Proofsource positions itself as an AI-search visibility/AEO/GEO platform that combines measurement with action: it not only tracks brand mentions but also explains lost questions, maps trusted citations, drafts fixes, lets customers approve publication, and checks whether answers changed. Its own comparison pages identify Profound, Otterly.AI, Peec AI, Scrunch, Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit and Ahrefs Brand Radar as comparison competitors.

Founding Story
The founders saw organic traffic flatten while ChatGPT appeared in customers' 'how did you hear about us?' responses, without any way to see what AI assistants were saying, which questions recommended a brand, or which competitors were named instead. They built Proofsource as the tool they needed as growth operators: a baseline for AI visibility, explanations for lost questions, citations, and approved fixes that agents can publish and verify.
