Products & Services
Browser-based bug, issue, feedback, and idea capture through a Chrome extension and web workflows. A Jam packages screen recording or screenshots with console logs, network requests, user actions, device metadata, replay, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries/reproduction steps.
Mac screen, window, or area recorder for creating Jams, with instant replay, annotations, camera bubble capture, and up-to-4K recording on eligible plans.
Mobile screen recorder for bug reporting that captures the phone screen and technical details such as operating system and battery information, and shares to tools such as Linear and Jira.
Extension-free recording links that let a support agent request a customer screen recording in chat and receive a Jam containing video, metadata, developer logs, network requests, and reproduction context.
Market Position
Jam positions itself as a context-rich bug-reporting and debugging layer rather than a simple screen recorder or text ticket: it automatically bundles visual evidence with logs, network requests, user actions, device data, and AI-generated reproduction context. Its competitors and adjacent alternatives include Sentry, LogRocket, FullStory, Usersnap, Marker.io, BugHerd, Loom, and manual Jira/Linear workflows; Jam differentiates through one-click capture, extension-free customer recording, helpdesk integrations, and direct AI-agent/MCP access.

Board of Directors
Founding Story
Grant and Irtefa met as product managers at Cloudflare and saw engineers lose hours in chats, email, and meetings because bug reports lacked the evidence needed to reproduce issues. They started Jam in 2020, iterated through seven versions, and opened the eighth version to the public in April 2022 to automatically package video, logs, network information, user actions, and device context into a shareable bug report.
