Founding Story
The founders say they were developers who repeatedly had to ask an AI assistant to write a work update and then spend time reconstructing the context it had missed, especially unexpected debugging, unplanned work, and dead ends. After seeing a Reddit post about developers underestimating unplanned work go viral, they concluded the problem was broader and built Meridian to remember the work automatically while keeping activity local and auditable.
