Executive Team
Jordan Husney
CEO and Head of Product
Founder; former Director at Undercurrent advising Fortune 100 C-suite teams on the future of work; engineering background with patents in distributed systems and wireless technology.
Founding Story
Jordan Husney conceived Parabol after a blizzard-era trip between Brooklyn and GE's Connecticut headquarters made him conclude that software would 'eat the office' and most knowledge workers would work remotely. After Undercurrent was acquired in 2015 and its acquirer went bankrupt, he started Parabol to put the facilitated-meeting mechanics he had used at Undercurrent into software, initially as a check-in tool and later expanding into Agile meeting formats.
