Products & Services
Free, MIT-licensed desktop app for macOS and Linux in which a user's Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot or Grok agent builds a real Remotion video project. It provides live preview, direct element editing, Snapshot feedback, reusable assets/components, design checks and export.
MIT-licensed, shadcn-style copy-paste library and agent skill for Remotion, with hundreds of reusable typography, shader, transition, UI, effect and scene components. Components are copied into the user's project, with no runtime dependency or lock-in.
The public open-source source repository for the agent-native video editor, distributed under the MIT license.
Market Position
Remocn positions Studio between pixel-generating AI video tools such as Runway and Sora and cloud template editors such as InVideo AI and Veed. Its differentiator is deterministic, editable Remotion source code on the user's disk, directed through an existing coding-agent subscription rather than per-second credits or a proprietary cloud project. Its own comparison also identifies the Remotion Claude Code plugin, claude-motion, HyperFrames, Revideo, OpenChatCut and OpenMontage as adjacent alternatives.
Leadership
Founders
Dima Kapish
Developer and open-source maker known online as KapishDima; his GitHub profile lists 68 repositories, including SoundCN and Remocn. He is identified as Remocn's founder on X and as the maker of Remocn Studio on Product Hunt.
Executive Team
Dima Kapish
Founder and maker
Developer and open-source creator (KapishDima) with projects including SoundCN and Remocn; he presented and launched Remocn Studio on Product Hunt.
Founding Story
Dima Kapish says he built Remocn Studio because his product launches repeatedly finished before the launch video did. He wanted a third option between AI-generated pixels that cannot be edited and generic templates: a coding agent that writes motion design as code, with the creator directing it like a film set.
