Co-founder of The Drive AI; started the company during a master's in computer science at the University of Alberta and graduated in 2023.
Founding Story
Bigyan Karki described starting The Drive AI to address two problems: files scattered across email, chat, cloud drives and local machines, and the difficulty of using the knowledge contained in those files. The initial vision was a Dropbox-like knowledge base that automatically organizes files by content and lets people search, understand and create from their own information; the company later expanded toward a natural-language, agentic file system.
