Uber
We ignite opportunity by setting the world in motion.
Founding Story
The idea for Uber was born in Paris in 2008. Founders Travis Kalanick and Garrett Camp were attending a conference and could not get a taxi on a snowy night. They envisioned a way to request a ride with the push of a button.
