About Decawork
Decawork gives IT teams a single control plane to manage AI agents built by any team across any framework. Backed by Y Combinator, the platform is SOC 2 certified and designed to let organizations say yes to internal agent development without losing visibility or control.
What It Is
Decawork is an agent governance and control platform aimed at enterprise IT teams. As individual departments build AI agents using tools like ChatGPT, Claude Code, n8n, LangGraph, CrewAI, Microsoft Copilot, and others, Decawork provides a centralized registry, access management layer, and audit trail so IT can oversee every agent running across the company — regardless of which framework or team built it.
How the Control Plane Works
Decawork organizes agent governance into three core pillars:
- Agents: A live inventory of every agent running across the organization — who owns it, what team it belongs to, what skills and tools it can reach, and when it was last active.
- Access: Short-lived credentials, scoped permissions, and approval gates so agents only touch the systems they are explicitly authorized to access.
- Audit: A complete, attributable action log showing what each agent did, which agent did it, and who approved it.
Every agent registered in Decawork gets an owner, scoped credentials, and an approval workflow before it can interact with company systems.
Supported Agent Frameworks and Tools
Decawork is framework-agnostic by design. The homepage lists agents built with a wide range of tools already managed through the platform, including ChatGPT, Claude Code, n8n, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Agent Framework, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, CrewAI, Gemini, Codex, and Cursor. This positions Decawork as a horizontal governance layer rather than a tool tied to any single AI vendor or orchestration framework.
Target Audience and Use Case
The platform is built for IT and security teams at companies where multiple departments — Marketing, Recruiting, HR, Legal, Finance, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success — are independently building and deploying AI agents. Decawork's stated value proposition is enabling teams to keep building while giving IT the control needed to approve and monitor those agents safely.
Current Status
Decawork is an active, production-available product backed by Y Combinator. The homepage references gateway version v0.9.4 and displays a SOC 2 certification badge verified through trust.inc/decawork. The company lists a contact email (founders@decawork.ai) and offers live demo bookings, indicating the product is in active go-to-market mode.
