Evidence is a browser-based platform for building interactive data products, dashboards, and embedded analytics backed by a high-performance query engine. It combines SQL, markdown, and a developer-focused IDE to produce publication-quality visualizations and data apps. The platform includes AI-assisted development tools, enterprise security controls, and a managed lakehouse infrastructure to support sub-second queries at scale.

• Browser-based IDE — Use a built-in editor with intelligent autocomplete, real-time syntax validation, version control, and testing to iterate quickly on reports and apps.
• AI Chat & Dev Agent — Interact with an AI chat agent and developer agent that can look up documentation, inspect schemas, debug queries, and help write Evidence markdown to speed development.
• High-performance query engine — Run sub-second queries on billions of rows using a managed ClickHouse-backed lakehouse with columnar storage and vectorized execution.
• Data syncs & scheduling — Configure scheduled syncs and refresh frequencies (daily, hourly, minutes) across multiple data sources to keep dashboards up to date.
• Enterprise security & access control — Support for row-level security, page-level access control, SSO (OIDC/SAML), SCIM directory sync, SIEM logging, and SOC 2 controls for compliance.
• Embedding and publishing — Publish reports internally, share with customers, or embed interactive analytics into applications; supports multi-region deployments and white-labeling for enterprise customers.
