About Golutra
Golutra is a next-generation multi-agent workspace built with Vue 3 + Rust using a Tauri desktop architecture, available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Independently developed and maintained by seekskyworld, it lets developers orchestrate multiple specialized AI agents — each with distinct roles like frontend builder, QA sentinel, or infra executor — that collaborate in real time without requiring any project migration or command relearning. The project reached v0.3.1 as of July 2026 and has accumulated over 3,700 GitHub stars since its February 2026 launch.
What It Is
Golutra is a desktop-based multi-agent orchestration platform that wraps around existing CLI AI tools and turns them into a coordinated agent workforce. Rather than replacing the tools developers already use, it layers parallel execution, automated task handoff, and visual monitoring on top of CLIs like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, OpenCode, Qwen Code, and OpenClaw. The core idea is to move from "single-threaded + manual context switching" to "parallel multi-agent execution + automated orchestration."
CLI Compatibility Layer
One of Golutra's defining design choices is its CLI compatibility layer. Developers keep their existing CLI tools and workflows intact — no terminal switch, no command relearning, no single-tool lock-in. Golutra wires those tools into a unified orchestration layer that adds:
- Parallel multi-agent execution with automatic result handoff
- Status tracking and scheduling across multiple CLIs in one view
- Session-level context and prompt reuse without repeating requirements
- Aggregated test, build, and regression output into one delivery path
Supported CLIs include Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, OpenCode, Qwen Code, OpenClaw, and any arbitrary CLI tool.
Team Space and Agent Roles
Golutra presents agents as members of a "Team Space" modeled after a chat-based collaboration interface. Agents are assigned roles — Agent Orchestrator, Agent Alpha (Frontend Builder), Agent QA (Quality Sentinel), Agent Kernel (Infra Executor), and others — and communicate results through channels and direct messages. Users can click agent avatars to inspect logs, inject prompts directly into terminal streams, and monitor execution while agents run in the background.
Stealth Terminal
The Stealth Terminal feature integrates command-line execution into the visual interface without requiring users to leave the GUI. It supports direct prompt injection into terminal streams for instant agent feedback loops, and provides context-aware autocompletion that understands the current project structure. This bridges the gap between raw CLI power and visual workflow management.
Architecture and Related Projects
Golutra is built on Vue 3 + Rust via Tauri, targeting Windows 10+ (x64/arm64), macOS 11+ (arm64/x64), and Linux (x64/arm64 via AppImage, DEB, and RPM). The README documents two companion projects: EverOS, a memory layer for preserving cross-session agent context and project knowledge; and golutra-mcp, which provides a stable MCP connection path through golutra-cli for integrating with MCP-based workflows.
Update: v0.3.1
The latest release is v0.3.1, published on July 21, 2026, following the v0.2.0 milestone announced on the homepage. The GitHub repository was created in February 2026 and has seen active development, with the roadmap pointing toward a "CEO Agent" layer capable of running autonomously for up to a month, an infinite agent network that self-expands, agent self-evolution, cross-device migration, and mobile remote control. The project is licensed under Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1), which is not an OSI-approved open-source license; it is scheduled to convert to GPL-2.0-or-later on February 25, 2030.
