What it is
Leadex is a chat-native B2B lead research agent. You describe an audience in plain English, approve the research plan it returns, and get back a deduped CSV - or a direct push into your CRM. There is no proprietary contact database behind it; Leadex composes semantic web search, a cloud browser agent, and whichever enrichment keys you have connected (Apollo and others) into a per-run plan.
How it works
Four stages, all inside one chat thread:
- Describe the audience. Write your ICP the way you would say it to a new hire - company shape, geography, signals, contact titles, columns you want.
- Approve the plan. A planner LLM returns a step-by-step plan naming concrete sources (Crunchbase, news, LinkedIn, company sites) and tools (search, browse, enrich, CRM push). Approve it whole or send a new message to re-plan.
- Watch it execute. A live log streams sites visited and rows extracted. Intermediary CSVs drop after each step, so partial results are never lost. Stop the job at any time.
- Get the CSV. One deduped CSV plus a plain-English summary lands in the chat. Follow-up messages in the same thread carry full context.

- CRM push as the final plan step into whichever CRMs you have connected (HubSpot and growing), with optional tags.

What it is not
Leadex is deliberately not an AI SDR. It does not send emails or write outreach, and it never executes without an approved plan. It does not host its own contact database, run scheduled jobs, or charge per contact. The trade-off for that shape: standalone Leadex cannot match Apollo's contact-level coverage, and very high-volume outbound (10k+/day per seat) still belongs with dedicated data vendors.

Usage-based tokens metered from real provider usage, not estimated up front. Free 14-day trial (500 tokens), then Pro ($20/mo, 2,000 tokens), Max 5x ($100/mo, 10,000 tokens), or Max 20x ($200/mo, 40,000 tokens). Annual billing saves 20%. Top-ups available at $0.02/token, $10 minimum, never expire. Third-party API consumption (Apollo, CRM) is billed by those providers - no per-contact markup from Leadex.
