About Magic Cloud
Magic Cloud is an open-source, self-hostable AI software development platform built on OpenAI and Hyperlambda — a DSL purpose-built for backend software development and AI agent programming. It generates full-stack business applications and AI agents from natural language prompts, with no external backend or database connectors required. The platform runs entirely on your own hardware, supports SQLite by default with optional MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server, and deploys instantly without compilation or build pipelines. It is comparable to tools like Lovable, Bolt, or Replit but with a self-hosted, zero-lock-in architecture.
- Vibe Coding — Generate full-stack apps from a single natural language prompt; the system automatically creates the database, backend API, and frontend with authentication and authorization.
- AI Agent Builder — Build and deploy autonomous AI agents integrated with CRM, ERP, legacy databases, or any custom system using natural language instructions.
- Headless Browser Integration — Uses PuppeteerSharp to let AI agents autonomously browse the web, fill out forms, click buttons, and complete tasks.
- CRUD Generator — Automatically creates API endpoints from database metadata, eliminating boilerplate backend code.
- Hyper IDE — A built-in VS Code-like editor for manually editing Hyperlambda, Python, and other code with AI-assisted comment-driven development.
- SQL Studio — Visually design and manage SQL databases directly within the platform.
- Built-in RBAC — Role-based access control is integrated at the execution level, enabling secure dynamic code generation and execution.
- Git Integration — Native Git support allows committing, pushing, and setting up GitHub Actions workflows directly from the platform.
- Python, Terminal, and C# Integration — Generate and execute Python scripts, BASH commands, and C# extension keywords on the fly as agent tools.
- Machine Learning Component — Manage AI agents and chatbots, including embeddable AI chatbots and password-protected AI expert systems.
- Plugin Repository — Install frontend website types and backend code modules from an integrated plugin store.
- Instant Deployment — Save code and test immediately — no deployment pipeline or publish step required.
- Docker Support — Get started quickly with a simple docker-compose.yaml file; runs on any hardware including a Mac Mini with CloudFlare tunnel.
- Performance — Hyperlambda is approximately 20x faster than Python-based solutions like FastAPI or Flask, and on par with C# and Entity Framework.
