About NoClick
NoClick is an open-source workflow automation platform built around AI agents, published under the AGPL-3.0 license. It lets individuals and teams describe a background task once, then builds and runs an agent that handles it automatically — wiring together integrations, triggers, and AI model calls on a visual canvas. The platform is available both as a self-hosted installation and as a managed cloud service at noclick.com.
What It Is
NoClick sits at the intersection of visual workflow automation and AI agent orchestration. Users describe what they want in plain language; an AI builder assembles the workflow on a canvas, connecting integration nodes and asking only for credentials and decisions that require human input. The resulting workflow runs on triggers — webhooks, schedules, inbound email, Slack messages, WhatsApp messages, and more — and every run records its tool calls, timings, and agent responses for full observability. The entire platform — workflow engine, integration nodes, React editor, real-time collaboration layer, AI builder, and MCP server — is open source and runs end-to-end on a local machine with nothing held back.
Agent Layer and Coding Harnesses
What distinguishes NoClick from general-purpose automation tools is its agent node, which can drive real coding harnesses including Claude Code, Codex, opencode, Hermes, and OpenClaw. An agent node can read a Linear issue, work in a git repo, and post results back to Slack — all within a single workflow. Integration nodes are wired directly into an agent's tool handle, so the agent calls those operations as tools rather than through a separate API layer. The platform also exposes a built-in MCP server, so any MCP client (including Claude Code or Codex) can point at a NoClick instance and build workflows programmatically.
Bring Your Own Model
NoClick is designed to work with AI subscriptions and API keys users already hold. Users can connect a ChatGPT Plus or Pro subscription, or a Claude Pro, Max, Teams, or Enterprise account, and model usage follows those subscription limits rather than being billed through NoClick. Alternatively, users can supply their own OpenAI, Anthropic, or other provider API keys, with usage billed directly by the provider. A credit system covers only usage NoClick pays a third party for on behalf of the user — AI builder chats, third-party API calls, and hosted compute like persistent WhatsApp connections.
Integrations and Triggers
The platform ships with approximately 160 integration nodes covering services such as Slack, Gmail, WhatsApp, Notion, Linear, HubSpot, Stripe, Postgres, Google Sheets, and Telegram. Workflows can be triggered by webhooks, cron schedules, inbound email, app events from Slack or Discord, or channel-style agents that reply wherever they are addressed. Each workflow supports multiple triggers, and agents maintain persistent conversations and durable workspaces — file outputs and context survive container restarts and cold starts.
Self-Hosting and Deployment
NoClick installs with a single command on macOS, Linux, WSL2, or Windows PowerShell, using Docker. One-click deploy buttons are provided for Railway, Render, and DigitalOcean. The self-hosted and cloud versions share the same workflow format, so workflows move between them unchanged. The architecture separates backend integration nodes (Python modules with self-describing Pydantic config schemas), a Socket.IO real-time event layer, a Remix + Vite React frontend with a ReactFlow canvas, and a Supabase-backed database layer. Adding a new integration node requires writing one Python module; the editor generates the config UI automatically.
Update: v0.4.1
The latest release is v0.4.1, published on September 14, 2026. The repository was last pushed on September 29, 2026, indicating active development on the main branch. The project previously shipped under the Sustainable Use License 1.0 through v0.2.12 before relicensing to AGPL-3.0, and the cloud platform holds SOC 2 Type I and CASA Tier 3 certifications.
