About Nuphos
Nuphos is an AI-native DevOps workspace built by Zeabur, Inc. that brings AI agents into production engineering workflows without sacrificing control. It provides a shared environment where agents can learn a team's infrastructure, investigate incidents, plan migrations, and take approved actions — all within a single console that replaces scattered cloud dashboards, terminals, and docs.
What It Is
Nuphos positions itself as a "tamed" terminal agent platform for production DevOps. Rather than a standalone AI chatbot, it is a collaborative workspace where human engineers and AI agents operate side by side, drawing on the same infrastructure context, permissions model, and memory. The platform is currently available as a macOS desktop application with integrations into Slack, Discord, Lark, and iMessage so teams can interact with agents without opening a new console.
How the Agent Model Works
Nuphos structures its agent capabilities around four pillars it calls Trust, Action, Memory, and Experience:
- Trust: Every agent session runs under a scoped IAM role (AWS, GCP, Azure). Agents can request approval before taking actions, and all activity is logged in an audit trail.
- Action: Agents can inspect cloud resources, read logs, open dashboards, generate plans, request human approval, and execute safe changes.
- Memory: The platform builds a persistent knowledge base of a team's services, environments, workflows, and operational history so agents accumulate context over time.
- Experience: Engineers and agents share one workspace instead of context-switching between terminals, cloud consoles, dashboards, and runbooks.
Connector Ecosystem
Nuphos connects to a broad set of cloud and developer tools out of the box. Cloud connectors include AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Akamai (Linode), Hetzner, Zeabur, and Cloudflare. Developer tool connectors include GitHub, GitLab, Slack, Linear, Jira, Vanta, and Secureframe. The platform also supports Vercel. Compliance connectors to Vanta and Secureframe allow agents to turn SOC 2 and ISO 27001 findings into automated remediation actions rather than just surfacing them as a list.
Key Use Cases
The platform targets four primary DevOps scenarios:
- Cloud migration: Agents compare resources, map dependencies, prepare migration plans, and coordinate cutovers across clouds.
- Incident response: Agents read logs, open dashboards, summarize impact, and propose next actions during on-call situations.
- Service deployment: Agents inspect configs, understand runtime requirements, generate rollout plans, and request approval before deployment.
- Compliance remediation: Connected to Vanta and Secureframe, agents auto-remediate SOC 2 and ISO 27001 findings.
Security and Governance Model
Nuphos is SOC 2 certified (via Zeabur's trust center). The platform enforces fine-grained IAM control per agent session, supports human-in-the-loop approval flows, maintains configurable audit history (ranging from 14 days to 1 year depending on plan), and offers temporary access scoping. Self-hosting is available for enterprise customers. The FAQ explicitly states that safety features — IAM-scoped sessions, approval flows, and audit trails — are included on every plan, not gated behind higher tiers.
Platform and Deployment
Nuphos is delivered as a macOS desktop application. Agents are also reachable through Slack, Discord, Lark, and iMessage integrations, allowing teams to kick off tasks or approve actions from wherever they already communicate. The product is built and operated by Zeabur, Inc., and the landing page repository is publicly visible on GitHub under the Zeabur organization.
