OpenShopGraph is an independent shop database for people and their AI assistants. It publishes source-dated facts about online shops, such as returns, shipping and payment terms, and exposes the same data through a REST tool API and an MCP server for assistants like Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity.

What It Is

OpenShopGraph is a curated directory of online shops where each record is built from observable signals such as the company imprint, payment options, and shipping and return terms. Every fact carries the date it was last confirmed and, where available, its source. The site states the data is published under CC-BY-4.0.

Developers can reach the data through tool endpoints under POST /tool/, or by adding the MCP server. Read endpoints work without a key within fair use; higher quotas need an API token, which is issued on request by email.

Tools and Endpoints

The API exposes tools to find a shop by name or domain, fetch a single shop, and list the category taxonomy. It also has tools to list active coupons and to read a shop's stated policies (return window, tracking, payment methods, buyer protection, shipping), each with a check date and source. A trust tool returns facts OpenShopGraph measured itself, such as TLS, hosting, domain age, registrar and payment methods, as individual signals with no aggregate score. Two write-only tools let agents report coupon-code outcomes or data issues. An OpenAPI 3 spec, a ChatGPT plugin manifest and an MCP manifest are published.

Coupon Verification and Independence

The site tests coupon codes at real checkouts and reports results, including failures. It states it sells no sponsored placements or paid rankings, and that some coupon codes may earn a commission from the shop.
