About Orchestrator
Orchestrator (Agent Orchestrator) is a tool for running multiple AI coding agents in parallel on a repository while keeping branches, reviews, and CI failures manageable. It is distributed as a desktop download and via a Homebrew install command, with a related open GitHub repository and documentation site.
What It Is
Orchestrator is an agent-fleet manager for software development. Each project gets a main orchestrator agent: the user describes an outcome, and it plans the work, spawns worker agents into their own worktrees, keeps them moving, and escalates only what needs a human. Work is shown on a board with columns such as pending work, iterating, in review, and ready to merge, with each card showing the agent, branch, and PR state.
Feedback loop on PRs
The product watches the pull requests it opens. Failed checks and review comments are routed back to the session that owns the branch, along with context to fix them, until the PR is approved.
Agent support and mobile companion
The site lists 25 supported harnesses with per-project agent choice, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Aider, and Goose. A mobile companion app pairs with the desktop over LAN or Tailscale to watch sessions, open a terminal, and receive notifications, while execution and code stay on the user's machine.
