To get started with Agent Mode, users need a Postman account with AI credits. Free plan users receive 50 credits per month, while Basic and Professional plans include 400 credits per user per month. Additional credits can be purchased as an add-on. Users can access Agent Mode directly within the Postman application by typing natural language prompts to generate API requests, write tests, or create documentation.

The feature integrates seamlessly with Postman's existing ecosystem including Collections, Environments, Mock Servers, and Monitors. It supports all major API protocols including HTTP, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSocket, and MQTT.
