Replica Skill

Replica Skill is an MIT-licensed set of eleven Claude skills made by Jake Schincariol of OpusJake. It takes an app you want to clone from reverse-engineering through rebuild, testing, rebranding, launch copy and deployment. Skills run in sequence and share a replica/ folder in your project.

What It Is

A Claude skill pack, installable as a Claude Code plugin or by copying skill folders, that guides clean-room recreation of an app's features and flows. It does not copy the original's code, logo, copy or content. The README says no signup, API key or connection is needed. Helper tools need Python 3.8 or newer and have no pip dependencies.

How the Workflow Runs

The sequence is recon, architect, design, build, backend, test, diff, entrepreneur, brand, launch, deploy. Recon builds a map of screens, flows, components and an inferred data model from public pages, store listings and your own account. Later skills plan the stack and schema, turn screenshots into design tokens, build screens, add auth and payments, write Playwright tests, and score parity against the original. The Entrepreneur skill reads real user reviews and turns complaints into a fix plan and positioning angle. Brand, launch and deploy handle naming, landing page and store listing, and shipping on your domain.

Bundled Tools and Guardrails

Six standard-library Python tools handle layout image diffs, parity scoring, review ranking, WCAG contrast checks, a sweep for leftover original branding, and store listing checks. None touch the network. Deployment is blocked until the brand sweep is clean. The README states it reads only public pages and your own account, and that it is not legal advice.
