The Agent Office

The Agent Office is a Mac app from Six One Inc that lets you assign a coding agent to each work ticket and manage all of them from a single board. Tickets come from Jira, Linear, 8090, or GitHub Issues, and each worker runs in its own git worktree and branch. It is currently available for Apple Silicon Macs, with a Windows version listed as coming soon.

What It Is

The Agent Office is a desktop orchestration layer for coding agents you have already installed and signed in to. You pick a ticket on the office board, hire a worker for it, and choose which agent handles it. The worker reads the ticket and starts on the task while you chat with it, approve risky actions, and review the resulting PR. A person reviews and merges every PR.

How the Workflow Runs

Tickets from supported trackers appear on one board. Starting work moves a ticket to In Progress, and marking it done posts the PR and a summary to the ticket and moves it to In Review. You can also pin an idea to a corkboard, where a Planner reads your code and drafts a ticket that can be filed in Jira with one click. Closing tickets earns XP and trophies, which the site describes as purely for bragging rights.

Approvals and Data Handling

Pushes, installs, deletes, network calls, and anything outside a worker's worktree wait for your approval. An auto mode approves everything but stays off until enabled. The site states that code and tickets stay on your Mac, that chats, settings, and tracker sign-ins are kept in a local folder, and that the app never stores API keys because agents use their existing sign-ins. Workers keep running if you close the window, and the app updates itself.

Setup Path

You need an Apple Silicon Mac, git, and a signed-in coding agent. Download the DMG, drag the app to Applications; it is signed and notarized by Apple.
