About Trigora
Trigora, built by Trigora, Inc., is a durable execution platform for long-lived AI agents and programs. Developers write programs in TypeScript, Python, or Rust, and Trigora suspends them across events, timers, external effects, and child executions, then recovers from committed continuation state after failure. The repository holds the CLI, local runtime, and shared public contracts, with a managed Trigora Cloud runtime for production.
What It Is
Trigora is an execution substrate for software that runs for hours or days. Programs are written as ordinary code with explicit durable boundaries: effect for durable external work, invoke for child executions, waitForEvent for suspending without holding compute, and sleep for durable timers. It uses Transparent Continuation Checkpointing (TCC), which commits the program position and live state needed to resume at these boundaries. Recovery loads that continuation rather than re-executing the completed history.
Workflow: write, deploy, suspend, resume
The developer installs the SDK, client, and CLI for their language, then runs trigora init to create a project and trigora dev to start the local runtime. trigora deploy ships programs to Trigora Cloud. Executions can be started from the CLI, an API call, a webhook, or a cron trigger. Waits and child joins release compute while state stays committed, and another process can restore the execution after a worker is lost. Control flow, exceptions, and structured concurrency (Promise.all, gather, join, race) remain durable across suspension and recovery.
Verification and benchmarking
The CLI includes trigora verify, which injects faults at durable checkpoints, resumes the program, and checks that recovery matches the baseline without duplicate or missing effects. trigora bench measures checkpoint cost, continuation size, and restore latency. Trigora's technical report states that with about 4 KB of live state, TCC recovery stayed roughly flat from 10 to 5,000 completed history entries, while matched history replay grew with the completed prefix.
Running TCC your way
Trigora Cloud is the managed runtime, covering deployment and program versioning, events and timers, cron and webhook triggers, project secrets, execution inspection, workspace access with API tokens, and managed persistence and recovery. TCC Engine is the portable engine underneath, available separately for embedding in your own infrastructure with a reference SQLite host and host protocol. The engine is source-available under the Business Source License 1.1, while the SDKs, clients, CLI, and public contracts are MIT licensed.
