About whatsmyagentdoing
whatsmyagentdoing is an open-source skill for Claude Code and Codex, published by Charonyuu on GitHub. Typing /myoffice opens a browser dashboard that shows what every Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI agent on the machine is doing, rendered as an isometric office or a plain list.
What It Is
It is a local monitoring dashboard for coding agents. It reads the session log files that these tools already write to disk (read-only), converts the latest event of each session into a status, and pushes updates to the page over Server-Sent Events. No hooks, configuration or API keys are required, and it needs Node.js 18+.
How the office view works
Working agents sit at cubicle desks, showing a thought bubble while thinking, typing while a tool runs, and waving when they need the user. Recently finished agents wander off duty around the pantry, couch, arcade, ping-pong and other spots. A Medium look uses a 2D canvas, while the High look renders a 3D office with Kenney CC0 models, rotation and zoom. Optional downloadable scene packs such as Pirate Cove, Café, Space Station and Castle are checked against a pinned SHA-256 before installation.
Statuses and list view
Sessions are labeled Thinking, Running (with the tool in flight), Writing reply, Waiting for you, Done, Interrupted, Error or Idle. The list view groups sessions into Needs you, Working and Finished, with a live turn timer, a copy button for the resume command, optional browser notifications, and filters for Claude, Codex and subagents. The UI supports nine languages.
Privacy and limits
The server binds to 127.0.0.1 only and nothing leaves the machine. A --private flag hides prompts, replies and titles. The README notes that logs are written per finished block rather than per token, that Claude Code does not log permission prompts, and that log formats are not public APIs so statuses may degrade if they change.
