Cloudflare Artifacts enters open beta with programmable Git repositories
October 1 carryover. Cloudflare Artifacts entered open beta with Git-compatible repositories that Workers can create and fork programmatically. Repo-scoped credentials, Git events and optional Workers Builds integration support workflows that create a repository for each project, session or agent task. Configured builds can deploy branches to Worker previews. Changelog, Product documentation.
Separate repository history is useful for agent work, but it does not itself isolate code execution. A build or sandbox remains a separate part of the workflow. Artifacts requires Workers Paid; billing begins October 14. Current limits include 1 GB per repository and 32 MB per file, and repositories persist until deleted. Teams planning many short-lived agent repos should include retention and cleanup in the design. Architecture, Pricing, Limits.
