Founding Story
Cloudflare started as a Harvard Business School project between Matthew Prince and Michelle Zatlyn, inspired by Prince's earlier work on Project Honey Pot. The goal was to move from just tracking online threats to stopping them with a 'firewall in the cloud.' It launched publicly at TechCrunch Disrupt in 2010.
