Accordio

Accordio is an AI back-office platform built by Deduxer SRL for consultants, designers, developers, and other solo operators who need to handle contracts, invoicing, time tracking, and client management without a team. It works from a browser, a macOS menubar app, and through conversational interfaces on WhatsApp, Telegram, and Slack. The platform also exposes an MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector so Claude and other AI agents can read and act on a user's business data directly from chat.

What It Is

Accordio positions itself as the administrative layer that AI assistants like Claude are missing. While Claude can write text, it cannot track billable hours, collect e-signatures, or reconcile bank deposits against invoices. Accordio fills that gap: it ships contracts, proposals, invoices, forms, scheduling, meeting recording, and expense tracking as a unified product, then makes all of that data accessible to Claude through a single MCP URL. The result is a workflow where Claude drafts and proposes, and Accordio sends, signs, and collects.

MCP Integration and AI Agent Architecture

The MCP connector at https://mcp.accordio.ai/mcp gives Claude 30 tools covering hours, clients, unbilled totals, invoices, contracts, calendar, and tasks. According to the product documentation, Claude can read the day, sort unassigned time entries, run timers, find unbilled hours, draft invoices, and create proposals and contracts — but sending, signing, and deleting always require explicit user approval inside Accordio. The connector also works with Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, and other MCP-compatible agents. Setup requires pasting one URL into Claude's connector settings.

Open-Source Mac Time Tracker

The macOS menubar component — the Accordio tracker — is published on GitHub under the MIT license. It samples the frontmost window every 5 seconds using active-win, merges consecutive app sessions with a 30-second grace period, and classifies activity into 14 categories entirely on-device with no network call. A separate meeting detector runs on its own timer to catch Zoom and Teams calls that the frontmost-window sampler would otherwise miss. The idle trap distinguishes three states — idle (a break), locked (untracked), and suspended (untracked) — so lunch and sleep are not billed as work. The tracker syncs entries to the Accordio backend for invoicing and MCP access.

Accordio covers the full client lifecycle without requiring separate tools:

• Proposals are drafted by AI, sent for client approval, and convert to contracts in one click
• Contracts are generated from a plain-language description, reviewed by an AI advisor, and sent for legally binding e-signature (ESIGN Act / eIDAS compliant)
• Invoices are generated from tracked time or contract milestones, sent with payment links, and reconciled automatically via Plaid bank sync
• Scheduling provides booking links and auto-joins calls for recording and action-item extraction
• Proactive alerts send morning briefings, overdue reminders, and deadline warnings without being asked

Target Audience and Positioning

The product is explicitly built for solopreneurs: consultants, designers, developers, coaches, and agencies of one. The founder, Roma Bors of Deduxer SRL, states on the homepage that the product was built after personally losing money to clients who never paid. Accordio compares itself directly to HoneyBook, Bonsai, Dubsado, and Moxie, and positions as a replacement for DocuSign, QuickBooks, PandaDoc, Typeform, Calendly, Toggl, and others — consolidating multiple subscriptions into one.
