About Agent Army
Agent Army (published as the agent-org-chart repository) is an open-source catalog of org charts for agent teams. Each chart is a small, importable team pattern. Users pick one, copy an import prompt, and send it to an agent that can spawn teammates. The repository is MIT licensed and is published under the serenakeyitan GitHub account.
What It Is
The project is a platform-agnostic catalog of agent team definitions. Each chart describes roles and their relationships, such as an orchestrator with specialists or a set of peers. The README names Grok Bot and OpenAI dots as compatible, along with any agent that can create teammates or background agents. A web browser at the project homepage lets users find a team or role, view the chart, copy the import prompt, and copy the chart.json.
How Importing Works
Each chart has an import prompt in the form Import <id> from https://github.com/serenakeyitan/agent-org-chart. The agent reads the repository's PROTOCOL.md, picks the chart id from charts/INDEX.md, and loads charts//chart.json, which the README calls the source of truth for spawning. It then uses its own platform's create-agent, spawn, or channel commands, reports which agents were created or reused, and asks for a first goal. Secrets are meant to stay in the vault only.
Available Charts
Charts are grouped on the site into Go-to-market, Build, and Small teams. They cover Marketing, MarOps, SDR, Sales Engineering, Post-Sales, Customer Support, Product, Engineering, Game Studio, Founders, and 101. The Marketing chart, for example, has a Project Manager orchestrating a Market Researcher, Product Marketer, Website Ops, Performance Marketer, and Marketing Analyst. Some charts also include routines, such as SDR and Post-Sales.
Contributing a Chart
Contributors copy an existing chart folder, write a short README and a chart.json, add a row to the index and table of contents, and validate against the JSON schema with an npm script. The README states that only content demonstrated on the Galaxy livestream belongs in the catalog.
