AIRUNCODE

AIRUNCODE is a desktop AI agent runtime that runs entirely on your own hardware, letting you bring your own API keys and pay providers directly with zero markup. It supports unlimited parallel agents, RAG-enhanced context, and a built-in 3D engine called V-CORE — all packaged as a downloadable app for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The current release is v1.4.7.

What It Is

AIRUNCODE is a local-first agentic coding environment — a desktop application that orchestrates AI agents on your machine rather than routing work through a vendor-controlled cloud. Users connect their own keys from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, NVIDIA, or OpenRouter, and pay those providers directly. The app itself charges a flat monthly fee with no per-token markup. It targets developers who want full control over their data, costs, and model choices.

How the Agent Pipeline Works

AIRUNCODE describes a four-stage pipeline it calls RESEARCH → BUILD → SHIP:

• Deep Scan — up to 262k tokens of context, mapping source code, docs, and dependencies before any edit.
• Agent Debate — multiple agents challenge each other's proposed solutions until the strongest approach is selected.
• Atomic Build — direct filesystem edits with live dependency resolution and test execution; no staging layer.
• Security Check — automated vulnerability scan before anything reaches production.

The swarm engine runs agents in parallel with shared memory, and a Context AI layer provides live token metering, four compaction strategies, cognitive rollback via snapshots, and an approximately 90% cache-hit rate according to the product page.

Self-Healing Test Runner

A standout feature is the built-in test runner with self-healing. Every code change is shipped with runnable tests; when a test fails, AIRUNCODE reads the logs and stack traces, applies a fix as a diff, and re-runs the suite until all tests pass. Supported frameworks include Vitest, Jest, pytest, and Cargo.

Model Support and BYOK Architecture

AIRUNCODE supports 300+ models via OpenRouter, NVIDIA, DeepSeek, MiniMax, and direct integrations with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Meta. It also supports local GGUF models for fully offline inference. The BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model means API calls go directly from the user's machine to the provider — the product page shows an example where a DeepSeek call is billed by DeepSeek, not AIRUNCODE.

V-CORE: Bundled 3D Engine

AIRUNCODE ships with V-CORE, a native Vulkan PBR renderer described as a "1.2 MB 3D World" engine. It includes procedural terrain generation, biomes, dense grass and flora, real-time rain and wetness effects in the BRDF shader, voice NPCs, impostor billboards, offline AI, and live terrain editing. This positions AIRUNCODE as a runtime for game and simulation development in addition to general software engineering.

The current version is v1.4.7, available as direct downloads (AppImage for Linux, plus Windows and macOS builds) and via a one-line shell installer that verifies SHA256 automatically. The product page lists a SHA256SUMS.txt for download verification, indicating an active release cadence and security-conscious distribution model.
