About App Store Screenshots
App Store Screenshots is a free, MIT-licensed skill by Parth Jadhav for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf and OpenCode. Once installed, you ask your agent to build screenshots for your app, and it scaffolds a Next.js editor project where you refine the deck and export store-ready PNG bundles.
What It Is
The skill turns raw app captures into ad-style marketing slides. Rather than producing a static one-off page, the agent asks about your app, source screenshots, platforms, locales, visual direction and slide count, then generates a full editor with real device frames. Decks are saved to app-store-screenshots.json, so projects are git-trackable and resumable.
How the Editor Works
The editor uses a connected canvas, so phones, captions and decorative elements can span adjacent screens, with an isolated mode for legacy decks. A screen sidebar handles reordering, and an inspector edits layout, headlines, screenshots and transforms, with a Copy ideas menu for headline formulas. Style Lab compares complete looks side by side, Scene Playground restyles backdrops and decorations across all screens, and a Magnifier adds zoomed detail loupes. Autosave writes to disk and localStorage.
Devices, Sizes and Styles
Supported decks include iPhone, iPhone Duo, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch, CarPlay, Mac, Android phone, Android tablet and the Play Store feature graphic. It also builds App Store creative assets for the product page header and search results. The export bundle is a zip organized by platform, device, resolution and locale. The skill ships 18 named visual styles with specs and a headline copy library, and supports multiple locales including RTL-aware layouts.
Setup Path
