Cassidy is a no-code automation platform. Users describe what they need in natural language and build agents that answer questions, draft content and take action, or workflows that run on triggers and carry out multi-step processes. Outputs include documents (Word, PDF, Excel), slide decks, interactive artifacts and dashboards, and updates to connected tools.

Context and Automation Layers

The platform's site describes five layers: automation (agents, workflows), an AI engine (models, capabilities, skills), context (Knowledge Base, meetings, connectors), security, and deployments. The Knowledge Base syncs with sources such as Google Drive, SharePoint and OneDrive, and is described as cited and permission-aware. Meetings can be transcribed and summarized so agents can reference what was said. Built-in capabilities listed include deep research, web search, browser use, intelligent parsing of PDFs and images, data analysis and bulk-running workflows across many rows.

Deployment and Model Access

Cassidy can be deployed in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Chrome, Word, Excel, Outlook and Gmail, or embedded via API. It gives access to models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, and says it routes to a suitable model per task. Webhooks and an API support custom integrations.

Governance and Enterprise Controls

Enterprise features include SAML single sign-on, custom roles with row-level security, organization-wide instructions, data retention policies, audit logging, document verification, human-in-the-loop approval steps and usage analytics. The company states that customer data is not used to train models and lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and CASA compliance.
