Cloudflare VibeSDK
Open-source agentic platform for building and deploying full-stack applications on Cloudflare with an AI coding agent.

About Cloudflare VibeSDK
Cloudflare VibeSDK is an open-source platform from Cloudflare that lets people build full-stack applications by working with an AI coding agent. Users describe what they want, answer clarifying questions, and follow the agent as it plans, edits files, deploys previews, inspects errors, and iterates. A hosted demo is available at build.cloudflare.dev, and the code is released under the MIT License.
What It Is
VibeSDK is a vibe-coding platform that can also be deployed as your own instance. The whole workflow runs on Cloudflare: Think drives the agentic model-and-tool loop, a Durable Object provides an isolated workspace per project, Dynamic Workers serve generated app previews, Durable Object Facets provide per-app SQLite storage, and Cloudflare Artifacts stores git history and restore points.
How the Agent Workflow Works
The agent reads the request and asks structured questions when details are missing. It then creates and edits files in the workspace, saves restore points, and bundles the current branch into a Dynamic Worker preview. It inspects the live preview and browser console output, repairs build or runtime errors, and repeats the deploy-and-verify loop. Output, tool calls, file changes and preview status stream to the UI. Bash access in the workspace is disabled; the agent uses explicit workspace and product tools.
Architecture and Data
Each app maps to its own agent Durable Object, workspace, Artifacts repository and generated application Facet with isolated SQLite storage, which users can inspect and reset. Rollback restores a selected commit into the current branch as a new commit and redeploys without rewriting history. Model providers are routed through AI Gateway for observability and caching, and preview URLs use signed, branch-scoped access.
Setup Path
You can deploy via the Deploy to Cloudflare button or run locally with Bun (bun install, bun run setup, bun run dev). Requirements include a Cloudflare account and API token, credentials for at least one supported model provider, and, for production previews, a Workers Paid plan with Workers for Platforms access and a custom domain. Generated projects can be exported to continue development elsewhere.
