• Backtracking — detects and removes self-corrections mid-sentence
• Email and URL formatting — converts spoken addresses into proper format
• Time and number formatting — converts "three thirty pm" to "3:30 PM" and "three hundred forty six" to "346"
• List and punctuation formatting — structures spoken lists and applies punctuation like exclamation marks

Users can also download alternative local models from Settings to match their language or hardware.

Privacy and Security Architecture

Because all processing happens on-device, Cloudless Voice sidesteps the data-handling questions that typically accompany cloud dictation tools. The enterprise page states that audio, transcripts, and screen context are never transmitted to Cloudless servers or third-party sub-processors. The app also uses screen context to improve accuracy, but that context is discarded immediately on-device rather than sent to a remote server.

Key security properties the vendor highlights:

• No audio or transcripts leave the device
• No remote AI training on user content
• Works fully offline (verifiable by disabling Wi-Fi)
• Signed binaries (Authenticode on Windows, Apple Developer ID + notarization on Mac)
