About Enzai
Enzai is an enterprise AI governance and enablement platform aimed at legal, compliance, and risk teams. According to the vendor, it helps organizations maximize AI adoption while minimizing risk across frameworks including the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, and NIST AI RMF.
What It Is
Enzai provides a centralized system of record where AI systems, models, datasets, and governance decisions are documented, assessed, and auditable. The platform is organized around four products: agentic AI governance, AI use cases and initiatives, AI inventory, and compliance frameworks.
How the Workflow Is Structured
Teams use structured intake to propose, review, and approve AI use cases, with cross-functional collaboration and structured approvals. An AI inventory maps AI infrastructure, tracks third-party AI solutions, and helps visualize exposure. Agent governance covers real-time analysis, assessments, managing agent sprawl, and automatic risk flagging. Compliance frameworks map AI projects to standards such as the EU AI Act, GDPR, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and ISO/IEC 27001.
Solutions and Third-Party AI
The site lists solution areas for AI enablement, continuous governance, third-party AI risk, and regulations and standards. Vendors can submit information via a portal for third-party risk review. The current homepage lists Jira, ServiceNow, Anthropic, OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Claude Enterprise, Azure AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, and Databricks integrations.
Security and Recognition
Enzai states it has been ISO 27001 certified since 2023, with annual audits performed by NQA. It also reports an Honorable Mention in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for AI Governance Platforms and inclusion in Forrester's Responsible AI Solutions Landscape, Q2 2026.
Runtime enforcement and MCP
Enzai now describes runtime enforcement that blocks unsanctioned tool calls before execution and logs allowed and blocked actions against governance records. An Enzai MCP server lets compatible assistants check approved tools, raise use-case or access requests, and record tool calls. Its setup workflow includes a hosted sandbox; this is not a published free plan.
