Forward AI is the agentic AI layer of the Forward Networks platform, built on Forward Enterprise, its network digital twin. Teams ask network questions in plain language and receive answers grounded in the twin, with the supporting evidence attached. Forward Networks describes it as a verification layer for automated and agent-driven actions.

What It Is

Forward AI is a conversational interface and agent verification layer for network, security, cloud, and compliance operations. It draws on Forward Enterprise, which builds a model of the network from actual configuration and state. Questions such as whether the network is exposed to a new CVE, whether a change is safe to deploy, or whether it complies with SOC 2 are answered using that model. Each answer returns the underlying path, policy, or configuration line so operators and auditors can inspect the reasoning.

How It Works Across Teams

The product is persona-aware: NetOps, SecOps, and CloudOps ask different questions of the same digital twin. In the vendor's CVE example, a user asks which devices have critical CVEs and whether they are exposed to the internet. Forward AI then returns the affected devices, the reachable paths from exposure points, and the policies that extend lateral reach. Cloud visibility is described as spanning AWS, Azure, GCP, and IBM Cloud.

Agentic Ecosystem

Users can bring their own LLMs and connect custom agents through the Forward MCP Server. The vendor says multi-step workflows can be coordinated across ServiceNow, Slack, and other third-party agents, with every automated action verified against the digital twin before execution.
