Offdesk

Offdesk runs a team of coding agents on your own Mac and brings anything that needs your input to your phone. It works with your existing Claude and ChatGPT plans, and a public beta is opening soon with an email waitlist.

What It Is

Offdesk is a mission-based orchestrator for coding agents. You type a task on your Mac or phone, attach files, and choose whether Claude Code or Codex leads. The lead can bring in a builder, tester, and reviewer, and can hand jobs to Codex, with every brief and report readable.

Approvals and Review

When an agent needs permission to run a command, review a plan, or answer a question, the request goes to your phone. You can allow once, deny, or leave a note, and you can message the lead at any time. When Codex builds, Claude Code reviews the changes and Codex fixes what it finds; you can also ask Codex for a second opinion on Claude's work.

Safe Changes and Previews

Each mission in a git project works in its own copy. You review the changes, then accept them, keep them as a branch, or discard them. A private live preview lets the agent check pages at phone, tablet, and desktop sizes.

Running on Your Mac

You can run up to three missions across projects. Offdesk keeps the Mac awake, resumes after a restart, and offers the other tool when one reaches its usage limit. A token budget can be set per mission. A Mac and Claude Code, Codex, or both, signed in with a Claude or ChatGPT plan, are required.
