About Onpilot
Onpilot builds AI agents tailored to enterprise and operations teams, connecting to existing systems like SAP, Salesforce, Zendesk, and custom APIs to automate real business workflows. The platform is currently available via waitlist and is recognized by the NVIDIA Inception Program and listed on AWS Marketplace. It targets regulated and complex operational environments where generic AI tools fall short, offering dedicated engineering support alongside the software.
What It Is
Onpilot is an enterprise AI workforce platform that turns time-consuming business processes into working AI agents. Unlike general-purpose automation tools, it is designed specifically for regulated, multi-system environments — manufacturing, operations, compliance, finance, and sales — where agents must reason, take action, escalate to humans, and maintain a full audit trail. The platform connects to over 3,200 tools and systems and supports deployment across multi-tenant SaaS products, internal dashboards, customer portals, and messaging channels like Slack and Microsoft Teams.
How the Workflow Works
Onpilot follows a four-step deployment model:
- Connect — Bring in APIs, databases, documents, CRMs, ERPs, knowledge bases, support tools, and workflow systems.
- Configure — Define what each agent can answer, which tools it can use, which actions require human approval, and who can access it.
- Deploy — Launch agents inside a website, SaaS product, internal dashboard, Slack, Teams, email, or customer portal.
- Control — Monitor usage, review decisions, manage permissions, and maintain a full audit trail of every interaction and action.
Human-in-the-loop approval steps can be inserted before sensitive actions, with interactive Slack messages that collect user responses before the agent proceeds.
Security and Governance Architecture
The platform is built around enterprise security expectations. Key properties include:
- Data isolation — Contact records, deal data, and pipeline information stay scoped per team with no cross-contamination.
- OAuth-based access — Connections to HubSpot, Salesforce, and Pipedrive use OAuth; credentials are never stored.
- No model training on customer data — Every query is processed and discarded; data is never used to train AI models.
- Granular access control — Field-, record-, and action-level permissions for both team members and AI agents.
- Audit logs — Every query, approval, and AI action is logged with full context.
- Compliance-ready foundation — The platform is described on the security page as built to support SOC 2 and GDPR readiness workflows.
Multi-Tenant and Deployment Flexibility
Onpilot is built for software vendors and enterprise teams that need tenant separation. The platform supports multi-tenant workspaces with SSO and SCIM, per-tenant access control, and isolated data regions. Deployment options include multi-tenant cloud, VPC, and on-premise, with support for AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes. White-label AI agents can be embedded inside SaaS products, internal dashboards, or customer portals.
Target Use Cases
The platform covers seven documented use-case verticals:
- Workforce — Self-serve HR and IT support answered in chat instead of tickets.
- Manufacturing — Shop-floor agents for incident reporting, equipment troubleshooting, and shift coordination.
- Operations — Live inventory, shipment ETAs, and PO status across ERP, WMS, and email.
- Sales & CRM — Account summaries, outreach drafts, and pipeline updates.
- Customer Support — Ticket triage, reply drafting from approved knowledge bases, and escalation routing.
- Financial Services — Invoice reconciliation, policy-aware answers, and regulatory Q&A.
- Compliance & Risk — Contract review, policy guardrails, and audit-ready escalation paths.
