About Rerun.build
Rerun is an open-source, self-hostable app from the rerun-build organization for creating teams of AI coworkers. Each coworker gets a job, its own memory, skills and computer, and works in tools such as Gmail, Slack, Notion and HubSpot. A hosted version, Rerun Cloud, is also offered; the latest release listed is v0.11.2.
What It Is
Rerun is an AI agent workforce platform. You describe what you need in plain words, and a built-in assistant called the Foreman interviews you, plans a team and builds it. Coworkers appear on a single board, and you can chat with any of them like a colleague, including files, voice notes, tables and inline approvals.
How Coworkers Work
Each coworker has a soul, skills and a memory that grows with each task. It gets its own computer with a browser and a screen you can watch and take over. Coworkers can run on schedules and webhook triggers, and can hand work to one another, for example one finding leads, another writing to them and a third filing the result. They stop and ask before they send, pay or delete anything. Ready-made templates include Executive Assistant, Data Analyst, Sales Development Rep, Social Media Manager and Collections Specialist.
Models and Integrations
The README lists 200+ catalog integrations, any MCP server, and 2,000+ apps through Composio. Models can come from Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini or OpenRouter via API key or an existing Claude or ChatGPT subscription, or from local servers such as Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
Self-Hosting Setup
Self-hosting needs Docker, Node.js 22 and a Supabase project. You clone the repository, fill in the .env file, push the database schema, run a self-host check script, and start with docker compose. The stack is Next.js, Supabase, a per-workspace engine, Hono, libSQL, Patchright and Docker in a pnpm monorepo. The core is AGPL-3.0, while directories named ee are source-available under a separate commercial license.
