About Television
Television is a desktop app from Telepath that gives users and their personal agents a shared visual space for creating and working with artifacts. It is positioned as the missing GUI for personal agents and is available as a download for Apple Silicon Macs, with a browser option installed through an agent.
What It Is
Television is a visual workspace layered on top of command-running AI agents. According to the homepage, any agent that can run commands and write files can use it. Compatible harnesses shown include Claude Code, Pi, Hermes, Codex and OpenClaw. Instead of results staying in a chat thread, the agent places them in Television where the user can see and revisit them.
Artifacts and Channels
Artifacts are items the agent pins in Television: simple cards, interactive views, or external web pages that you revisit and organize over time. The homepage demo shows a calendar, a status card with a progress figure and a website checklist. Channels are persistent spaces where you and your agent collect, arrange and return to the things you are working on.
Skills
Skills are reusable instructions that teach an agent to build interfaces, and they can be adapted and shared. The listed examples are:
- tv-calendar: builds a week calendar from events, plans and deadlines.
- tv-tasks: builds a checkable to-do list from tasks and plans.
- tv-table: builds a dense, Airtable-style table of records.
Setup Path
Mac users on macOS 12 or later with Apple Silicon can download the app directly. Others can follow the GitHub prerequisites to have their agent install Television for use in the browser.
