    About TokenBar

TokenBar is an open-source app by lwh0630 that shows remaining quota, balance and reset countdowns for AI services such as Codex, Claude, Cursor, OpenRouter and DeepSeek in one dashboard. It is built with Flutter and runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, with Linux and iOS builds marked experimental. The latest listed release is v1.0.0.

    What It Is

TokenBar is a usage monitor for AI subscriptions, API keys and gateways. It queries each provider's own endpoint from the user's device and displays quota windows (5-hour, weekly, monthly, per-model), credit balances and spend, plus a pace marker showing whether usage is ahead of or behind a linear pace. The project says it was inspired by CodexBar for macOS and supports 50 services.

    How Accounts Are Read

On desktop, TokenBar can reuse the login that an official CLI or app has already stored, read-only (for Codex, Claude and Cursor). Elsewhere, users paste an API key or a browser cookie. Credentials are kept in the platform secure store and are not written to logs, snapshots or the sync server. TokenBar does not ask for passwords or simulate logins.

    Desktop, Mobile and Server Options

Desktop builds include a tray icon whose two bars follow the tightest quota and a compact tray panel listing all accounts. Other features include usage history charts (24 h, 7 d, 30 d), low-quota notifications, light and dark themes, English and Simplified Chinese UI, and an Android home-screen widget. A CLI command, tokenbar usage, prints the same data in a terminal or as JSON. An optional self-hosted sync server stores usage snapshots, never credentials, so quotas can be viewed on a phone or in a browser.
