About VidClaw
VidClaw is an open-source, self-hosted dashboard designed to serve as a command center for OpenClaw AI agents. It provides a unified interface to manage tasks, track token usage, switch models, and customize your agent's personality—all without cloud dependencies. The dashboard binds only to localhost and is accessed through an SSH tunnel, ensuring your data never leaves your server.
-
Kanban Task Board allows you to organize work with Backlog, Todo, In Progress, and Done columns. Drag and drop cards, assign priorities and skills, and your agent picks up tasks automatically.
-
Usage Tracking provides real-time token usage and cost estimates with progress bars matching Anthropic's rate limit windows. Model switching is available directly from the navbar.
-
Skills Manager lets you browse all bundled and custom skills, enable or disable them, or create new ones. Your agent loads changes automatically on the next session.
-
Soul Editor enables editing your agent's persona, identity, and operating instructions with version history and one-click revert. Six starter templates are included.
-
Activity Calendar displays a monthly view of what your agent has been working on, parsed from memory files and task completion history.
-
Content Browser allows you to browse workspace files with markdown preview, syntax highlighting, and download capabilities to see what your agent has created.
To get started, clone the repository into your OpenClaw workspace directory, run the setup script which installs dependencies, builds the project, and starts the service. Access the dashboard from your local machine through an SSH tunnel. Requires Node.js 18+ and a running OpenClaw instance.
