About WikiFix
WikiFix is a Confluence Cloud app built by totem-dev that scans chosen spaces for pages that are wrong or inconsistent, then helps admins and knowledge leads fix them. It surfaces contradictions, duplicate content and pages whose owner has left, and every change requires explicit approval.
What It Is
WikiFix runs inside an existing Confluence instance, with no migration needed. It reads page content rather than just filtering by date, and flags pages that disagree with each other. Its stated aim is to keep documentation reliable for both people and AI assistants that answer from Confluence content.
How the Review Loop Works
After installation you pick the spaces to watch and start a scan, which runs in the background while findings stream in. Each finding is framed as a question, with each page's answer quoted verbatim side by side. You choose the correct answer and apply it, and WikiFix rewrites every page that disagrees. Alternatively, you can use Ask owner, which posts an inline comment that @mentions the page owner and space admins, or ignore the finding.
Approval and Reversibility
Nothing is written until you approve it. Content fixes revert in one click. Reassigning the owner of an abandoned page is the exception, and it undoes only once the previous owner is back; the card warns you beforehand. Findings that reference pages you cannot access are hidden.
What It Catches and What's Next
Today it detects contradicting pages, duplicate and near-duplicate content (you choose the surviving page and unique facts), and orphaned pages with departed owners. Detection of pages that contradict code is listed as being built next. Other ideas, such as broken links, are on a wish list. A weekly scan summary email is also shown.
