    GPT-6.2 and Claude Mythos Rumors

OpenAI's Tibo Sottiaux posted "Le GPT Fat." Stephanie Palazzolo reported that new OpenAI models could arrive as early as Friday. At the November 6 cutoff, GPT-6.2 Astra and Sol still had no confirmed launch date.

There were reports of a Claude Mythos 5.5 label on Anthropic's site and Gemini 4 Carbon testing on Arena. Neither had a confirmed launch date.

Two Gems: Floorplan Maps Apps. MCPJungle Connects MCP Servers.

We added 348 tools from October 31 to November 6. These two stand out from our 14 Gems.

Floorplan maps an app after an agent has written it. Its recent-work view shows changes. A health check flags common problems. (Project)

MCPJungle puts multiple MCP servers behind one connection. Teams host the gateway and register their servers once, then connect their coding agents to it. (Project)

    New Models and Tool Updates

Cursor can build and host an app from a cloud-agent request, including the database and login. It requires a paid plan with cloud agents enabled. (Announcement)

Amp added shared documents inside agent threads. People and agents can edit the same artifact without digging the latest decision out of a long chat. (Announcement)

Cognition's SWE-2 Flash adds a cheaper coding option in Devin Desktop and CLI, according to the company. Self-serve use is free until December 4 at 18:00 UTC. High and Max need a paid plan. Enterprise terms differ. (Pricing)

Kimi K3.1 Pro's coding weights are available under a custom license. Qualifying Model-as-a-Service businesses need a separate agreement. (Model card)

OpenAI's Images 2.6 adds animated GIFs and new editing features across ChatGPT, Codex and the API. (Announcement)

LangChain's Deep Agents can hand tasks to background helpers while the lead agent carries on. The lead can check, update or cancel those tasks. (Announcement)

Agent Reliability: Longer Tasks and Unsafe MCP Choices

The BOBA-Bench preprint saw completion roughly halve when single requests became chains of twenty. (Preprint)

Glow's MCPhantom research found agents choosing retired MCP servers from memory. MCP servers connect agents to outside tools and data. Glow reported security holes with no fixes coming in those servers. The findings cover the sessions studied. (Research)

Our read: check the finished work and the dependencies an agent chooses. A confident answer can still leave either one wrong.

AI Funding, Data-Center Politics and Next Week's Events

Anthropic's amended IPO filing lists nearly $900 billion in purchase and lease commitments. Almost all is for compute and infrastructure. (Filing) BBC Verify found voters who rated data centers a crucial or major factor in their vote were more likely to vote Democratic. (Reporting)

    Three events to follow:

    • AI Engineer Code Summit, November 10-12: Coding agents in San Francisco. In-person access needs an application and ticket. The organizer advertises a livestream. (Program)
    • KubeCon, November 9-12: Infrastructure in Salt Lake City. There's no virtual component. Public recordings are promised within two weeks. (Program, Viewing details)
    • Hinton Lectures, November 9-11: Paul Christiano on alignment and AI oversight. Public streams begin at 3 p.m. Pacific each day. (Program and streams)

A few dates also need action. Public-repo GitHub Actions workflows using pull_request_target face brownouts on November 9 and 16, from 16:00 to 18:00 UTC. The default block starts December 2 unless a policy allows the event. (Notice)

Conductor Cloud turns read-only November 13 and closes November 20, when data deletion begins. Export work beforehand. Workers AI also removes the models in its revised notice on November 20. (Conductor, Workers AI)

In December, OpenAI says Plus, Pro and Business will share one allowance across ChatGPT and Codex. Instant chat is excluded. (Usage terms)
