Clean Clode is a free, open-source terminal text processor designed specifically for developers working with Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. It intelligently strips terminal formatting artifacts — box-drawing characters, pipes, excessive whitespace, and newlines — while preserving the meaningful content and structure of your text. All processing happens entirely in the browser, meaning your text never leaves your device and no data is collected or tracked. The tool also includes an optional local-only paste history so you can quickly access frequently cleaned snippets.
