About Dashi PPT Skill
Dashi PPT Skill is an open-source skill published by chuspeeism on GitHub. An AI agent reads your documents and turns them into a slide deck that opens as a browser-based editor, and the deck can then be exported to HTML, PDF, or editable PPTX. The README describes 12 visual themes, 1020 layout pages, and 8576 adjustable controls.
What It Is
It is an agent skill, not a standalone app. You give your AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, 豆包, and others) a document and ask for a presentation. The skill structures the content, lets you pick a theme from previews, and generates the deck locally with Node.js. Each page is built from a layout plus text fields, so the agent can read, edit, and validate it.
Editing after generation
Every page ships with a control console offering sliders, switches, and dropdowns. These let you change layout, module count, chart type, color palette, and page emphasis. Text can be edited in place by clicking it, and media slots accept click or drag replacement. The thumbnail sidebar supports drag reordering, skipping, deleting, and duplicating pages. There is also a presentation mode, light/dark switching, and nine page-transition animations.
Layouts and charts
Layouts cover 20 page roles, including cover, table of contents, metrics, trends, comparison, process, and risk. Chart layouts include radar, waterfall, treemap, funnel, heatmap, Sankey, and Gantt. Analysis-model layouts include SWOT, Porter's Five Forces, PEST, Business Model Canvas, and Double Diamond.
Setup path and export
Install or update with npx dashi-ppt-skill@latest. This requires Node.js 20+ and npm, and PPTX or PDF export needs Chrome, Chromium, or Edge installed locally. Exports can also be run from the command line, or you can ask the agent to go straight from prompt to PPTX. The README states that document content is not uploaded to any server; it only goes online to install dependencies and to check the latest version number.
Licensing
The project is under AGPL-3.0. The README notes that the PPTX export engine package is a proprietary component licensed only as part of this skill.
