Graphical is a theme builder for designers, developers, and anyone building an app with a coding agent. It lets users create and customize a visual design language, then export it as theme files, React component source, and agent context. The site credits its creation to Josh Puckett and Adam Michela in California.

What It Is

Graphical is a visual editor for building interface themes. Users start from one of 5 included styles or from their own colors, typography, spacing, and styles, and adjust them visually. The editor covers colors (brand, neutrals, status), light and dark mode values, typography, spacing and scale, icons, shape and effects, component states, and motion.

How It Works With Coding Agents

Each download includes GUI.md, detailed theme references for light and dark mode, setup instructions, and three coding-agent skills. Users share these resources with their coding agent along with a setup prompt. The agent can then create new screens, apply the theme to existing UI, and find and fix inconsistent styles. Themes can be downloaded directly or installed through the shadcn registry command.

Components and Framework Support

The visual editor works with React components built on Base UI, with source included. The FAQ states that theme files and agent skills can be used with any framework, component library, or language, so React or Base UI is not required.
