About HolyClaude
HolyClaude is an open-source, MIT-licensed Docker container by CoderLuii that packages Claude Code, the CloudCLI web interface, several other AI coding CLIs, a headless Chromium browser and common developer tooling. It runs with docker compose and opens a local web interface at localhost:3001. The current release is v1.6.6, available in Full and Slim image variants for AMD64 and ARM64.
What It Is
HolyClaude is a self-hosted AI coding environment delivered as a container image. It runs the official Claude Code CLI behind CloudCLI, a browser-based interface with project management, multiple sessions and bundled Project Stats and Web Terminal plugins. Project files live in a mounted ./workspace folder and settings and credentials in ./data/claude, so both persist when the container is recreated.
Images and Bundled Tools
The Slim image includes five AI CLIs: Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenAI Codex, Cursor Agent and TaskMaster AI. The Full image adds Junie, OpenCode and Pi Coding Agent for eight in total, plus deployment tools, PDF and document libraries, and FFmpeg. Both images include Node.js, Python, Git, Playwright and Debian Chromium. Authentication uses your existing provider accounts or API keys, and the project states it operates no credential relay.
Operation and Access
- CloudCLI binds to 127.0.0.1:3001 by default; optional key-only SSH, Mosh, rootless Podman and a base-path setting are documented.
- Apprise-based notifications can alert Discord, Telegram, Slack, email and other destinations when agents finish or fail.
- Updates are done by pulling a reviewed image and recreating the container, since CloudCLI self-update is patched out.
- The default Compose file adds SYS_ADMIN and SYS_PTRACE and disables the default seccomp profile, which the project notes broadens container privileges.
- CloudCLI is single-user, so remote access shares one account and credential context.
