About Hypervibe
Hypervibe is a native macOS app that lays out coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI as real terminals on a single pannable, zoomable board. It runs on Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later, and the agents run on the user's own subscriptions or API keys rather than through resold model access.
What It Is
Hypervibe is a workspace for running multiple command-line coding agents side by side. Each console is the real interactive CLI in a real PTY, so Ctrl-C, Vim and full-screen TUIs behave as in a normal terminal. The site lists a catalog of 34 agent CLIs, plus any custom executable you add. You open a repo as a board, switch between workspaces like tabs, and add agent consoles as nodes.
Orchestration and voice
A mission map shows each console as working, resting or needing you, with status driven by each CLI's own hooks. Consoles can be grouped into teams with roles, and a task can be handed from one agent to another with a summarized brief. Loops trigger a console on a schedule, on idle or on output, and can retire themselves when a goal is met. A voice planner understands speech and answers aloud; destructive actions wait for confirmation. Microphone audio is transcribed on-device.
Studios and board tools
The board also holds live localhost web tiles with a Web Inspector, kanban, notes, ink and markup, and a git card with a GitHub panel. Studios turn a repo into documents with PDF export, diagrams (PNG or .excalidraw export), a code tree with highlighted previews, and an Obsidian-style markdown vault.
Local-first model and continuity
State is stored on disk as versioned JSON, and consoles relaunch where they were with each CLI's native resume. Per-repo and global project memory is only pushed to a console on request. Hypervibe states that nothing prepared for a console is sent automatically; the user presses Enter. The hosted parts are sign-in, planner commands with board context, and the text of spoken replies. The app is distributed as a direct download rather than via the Mac App Store.
